Insects on goods are only comprehensively exterminated if fumigants penetrate with adequate concentration in necessary time. Popular kinds of packaging such as jute or PP bags allowing fumigants to absorb through are suitable for fumigation technique. On the contrary, PE bags, 2-layer bags with PE film, airtight carton box preventing fumigant from absorbing through are not suitable for goods with fumigation requirements.
