Viet Nam is also home to many premium rice varieties recognized internationally. In the current context of economic integration, trade and the presence of Vietnamese agricultural products in demanding markets are no longer impossible. As one of the leading enterprises in the agrochemical business in Viet Nam, VFC is committed to accompanying farmers in producing high-quality rice that meets export standards for these markets.

The research collaboration between VFC and CLRRI is a natural and necessary step, timely addressing the transformation of rice production under the pressure of integration, and meeting farmers’ growing technical and professional needs. In particular, the joint research and development of modern rice production protocols provides new content and tools to engage and communicate with farmers through the program “Tiếp sức cùng nông dân VFC - Cánh đồng hội nhập”.

As part of the development roadmap of the program “Tiếp sức cùng nông dân VFC - Cánh đồng hội nhập”, on 24 March 2021 in Can Tho, the official cooperation signing ceremony between the Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute (CLRRI) and Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) took place.

The cooperation between the two organizations aims to jointly research and develop modern rice production protocols that align with the integration trend. In addition, they will work together to transfer scientific and technical advances to farmers, thereby raising the value of Vietnamese rice based on the principles of OPTIMIZING TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY – ORIENTING TOWARDS QUALITY, SAFE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS – OPTIMIZING INVESTMENT COSTS AND PROFITABILITY.

At the signing ceremony, the Organizing Committee was honored to welcome the leadership of VFC’s strategic partner – Syngenta Viet Nam Co., Ltd.; the Boards of Directors of THDT, THHG and THST television stations; scientists from CLRRI, Can Tho University and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Thap province. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of the “integration farmers” – VFC’s core group of advanced, pioneering farmers.
